Using the same technology that secures bitcoin, I've made it computationally expensive to DDOS websites under my proxy.

To enter the site, you are first directed to a page with a small piece of JS code. The server generates a random sequence of numbers required for the client to pass this gate. In order for the client to obtain this random sequence, the client must find the proper nonce to generate a given hash, after it correctly solves the problem the client obtains the proper key to enter the site.
