Inspiration

It’s midterm season and recruiting season. Many of us spend hours and hours on our computers without breaks.

What it does

This chrome extension pops up cheery quips and small reminders to take care of yourself and also displays the amount of time you've been spending on your computer. (Of course the popups can be distracting so you are able to disable the extension with the button in the popup). The extension has a random variety of embedded YouTube videos and images.

How we built it

We used JavaScript, html, and css to build the extension.

Challenges we ran into

A challenge we ran into was with passing data between the background and other JavaScript files.

The memes are kind of funny.

What's next for Shia

It’d be cool to scrape new images and videos off the internet and add more ways to make it more customisable for the user.
