Yorder started as an idea at a hackathon in 2010, and wen on to win several awards including the 2010 PayPal X Developer Conference Grand Prize, and $100,000 in funding that moved the company forward. Today the software is deployed in sports venues and food truck around the US.
The mobile app is a true multi tech stack with everything from native iOS and Android code, to pure web based elements using super efficient technology that lets our system run large events and commerce on super cost efficient cloud based systems with a minimal team.
So what is Yorder itself? Yorder is an award winning location based smartphone app that provides in-seat food, beverage and merchandise ordering that puts a sports or event facility at the head of the line. The Yorder system was designed to work with existing infrastructure, even if there’s no infrastructure in place, and provide a flexible solution that caters to each businesses specific needs.
But we didn't stop there, Yorder lets mobile food vendors like food trucks add order ahead service, so there's not waiting in long lines to grab a quick bite to eat for lunch when you are pressed for time.
