Inspiration
Watching murder mystery shows and always wondering who's the culprit.
What it does
Ingest video footage of a crime investigation and determines who is most likely to be guilty.
How we built it
We first used Figma to design what we want our page to look like, then using programming tools to build front&backend, test the tool using simulated resources.
Challenges we ran into
Website crashes, graphs not working, cannot upload pictures because the website would't load.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Seeing the tool we built actually creating logic charts and analyze the possibility of one being criminal.
What we learned
"Basically everything". One of us as a beginner learned how to add components and edit website using js with react and html css. The other who has been coding for years, had a vast of opportunities getting into the new field.
What's next for Sherlock AI
We hope to develop the tool to take more evidence formats, ie. pictures, tables and so on. And we want to make it more professional with the actual steps for solving actual crimes.
