ShelterLink Philly is free no-cost application developed to improve access to homeless shelters and related support services. It is designed for individuals experiencing homelessness, as well as those seeking to support someone in need.

The app provides a simple, guided experience that does not require users to share sensitive personal identifying information. Instead, it uses general information—such as location, age, gender, and household or family status—to help match users with shelters and resources that align with their specific needs. At the end of the process, users receive a personalized report that directs them to the Philadelphia Office of Homeless Services (OHS) and appropriate intake centers, which serve as the primary pathway to coordinated support and longer-term housing. For those in need of more immediate assistance, the report also includes a list of private shelters and organizations matched to their circumstances. The report can be emailed to the user or saved for easy access and future reference.
