Inspiration

Inspired to push boundaries of humanitarian efforts for Ukrainian refugees & victims of war by using decentralized, trustless & immutable technologies such as Blockchain & IPFS. Shelter was built during Kyiv Tech Summit held in a bomb shelter in Kyiv, Ukraine on September, 2022 where it was awarded by Protocol Labs on its impactful usage of IPFS. Since then, Shelter is slowly & continuously being built to have the necessary functions to be a full scale web3 app.

What it does

Shelter is a blockchain based ticketing/donation system: Enabling Tokenization of Assets & Services for public good. By combining tokenization of tangible assets, NFT's as ticketing system & peer-to-peer donations, shelter brings a unique use-case to further improve the humanitarian efforts not only for organization but also for individuals.
