Inspiration From being stuck in traffic, then getting your day started with road rage. We came together to create an application for Android Auto that promotes safe, healthy driving habits, identifying negative, offensive feedback from the driver using cabin audio, and detecting driver aggression, also known as road rage.

What it does Road-mage uses the audio in the cabin of the vehicle to identify aggressive behavior from the driver. According to statistics, Road rage is learned, and can be unlearned, and sometimes drivers just need a reminder! Once Roadmage detects agression from the driver, it sends a gentle notification, reminding the driver to remain calm.

How we built it We built RoadMage using Android Studio to attach to Unity/Gemini and created an interface in UI and UV.

Challenges we ran into Some of the challenges we ran into were programming the Android automotive, navigating new things we haven't experienced, such as new languages like Kotlin/Gradle Accomplishments that we're proud of We are beyond proud of successfully getting a test application to properly build and work in the Android automotive emulator correctly, despite having to learn a new programming language and environment
