Inspiration
On the journey of growth, if we could see the paths ahead of us in advance, or become aware of paths we didn't know existed, we could eliminate our blind spots. Knowing how exceptional women predecessors have navigated their professional journeys step by step—how many years they spent, how many fields they worked in, and how much experience they amassed—would provide us with numerous references. This knowledge shows us where to go and what information to seek, revealing the different possibilities in other fields, continents, and countries. Thus, we can relate these insights to our own reality and understand what we ourselves can do.
What it does
The SheLeads website features this year's "Most Powerful Women in Business 2024" list from Fortune magazine, spotlighting the top 100 women in the business world. Through an interactive map, users can explore the profiles of remarkable women across ages and countries. Selecting an industry reveals leading women in that field, and clicking on a name provides a summary of her company and career path. At the end of each profile summary, generated by Google Gemini, users can engage in a conversation with Gemini. You can ask questions such as "Are there recommended autobiographies of her?" or "What other well-known companies exist in her field?" allowing for deeper exploration of her background and industry insights.
How I built it
I used typescript to built this with the help of AI code assistant, also used AI to read pictures from my fortune magazine and let it convert the list from picture to the jsons I used in this project
Accomplishments that I am proud of
With the support of AI, I swiftly prepared data and built a dynamic, interactive website. This site features a truly interactive map of top women in business profiles, enabling limitless conversations and detailed exploration of each inspiring leader. None of this would be possible without the powerful capabilities of Google Gemini working behind the scenes.
