ShebaQuest

I was inspired by the rich history and culture of Queen Sheba and wanted to create an interactive project that showcases her journey and the ancient trade routes. Through this project, I learned how to build web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and how to connect code with storytelling to create an engaging experience. This project is a web-based interactive map and quiz game that traces the routes of Queen Sheba's travels. It includes multiple-choice questions about the history, trade, and geography related to her journey, with visual aids and feedback to users. One challenge I faced was designing the map and ensuring it visually showed the routes clearly. Another was managing the quiz logic in JavaScript to avoid repeated questions and handle user inputs effectively. I overcame these by researching interactive maps and practicing JavaScript event handling.
