Inspiration

In India, millions of people share shayaris daily as a way to express emotions. But most of them are non-technical and struggle with design or AI tools. I noticed this gap and wanted to create something simple that lets anyone turn their photos into shayari images without learning prompts or complex apps.

What it does

Shayari Skill transforms a user’s photo into a beautiful shayari image using AI. The platform automatically generates unique shayaris and overlays them on the picture, making it ready to share on social media in seconds.

How we built it

-Used Gemini API to generate original shayaris. -Built a web platform with a simple, red-and-white UI. -Implemented an image overlay system to blend shayaris seamlessly with photos. -Focused on accessibility so even non-tech users can use it easily.

Challenges we ran into

-Keeping the generated shayaris relevant and meaningful. -Ensuring text placement doesn’t affect the visual quality of photos. -Optimizing for speed and simplicity to support users with limited devices or bandwidth.
