Inspiration

We wanted to make a game that captures the spirit of SharkHacks!

What it does

It is a simple coin toss mechanism that in the backend uses a fighting mechanism to determine whether BLAHAJ loses or wins.

How we built it

We used vanilla HTML, CSS, and JS to create the app.

Challenges we ran into

This project started life as a Birds Vs Blahaj Project. The AI model and the game mechanics were ready but we couldn't deploy them on time so we changed directions at the last moment and put together this AWESOME BLAHAJ COIN TOSS

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • We were able to make an ML model which identifies 285 Bird Species which was trained with 200,000 data points and had an accuracy of 90%.
    • We were able to formulate a game logic that uses the names of the birds to come up with a points-based grading system that determines a winner
    • We were able to design and build a Responsive Website UI that can scale to accommodate all devices

What we learned

-We have used VGG neural network. Used python machine learning libraries. -Learned to train the huge datasets and get 90% accurate results. -Learned to train an ML model. -Team building, working in teams, and collaborating -UI Design using figmaFigma -Learned how to collaborate with all on Github

What's next for Shark Coin Toss

  • Connecting the frontend with the backend on the ML-based game project.
