Inspiration
I lost my grandma to suicide. I have friends and family who listened, and helped me through down periods over the years. That is why I survived.
Sitting next to my window, I hear sirens outside my window everyday from first aid vehicles. Everyday, the rising death tolls suggest someone else has lost their loved ones. With social distancing implemented, it is difficult to share your survival/losses experiences and move on. Yet it is helpful to release our psychological trauma by writing and sharing experiences.
What it does
I created a website to help survivors of COVID-19 to share their experience. The stories can be published anonymously. The reward is by sharing one article, you can read one article for free and get to know someone else who has similar experiences.
How I built it
I built it with google sites and medium.
Challenges I ran into
Time and financial resources constraints.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Created a website for people to share about useful tips, scientific knowledge and tool kits regarding combating COVID-19.
What I learned
It is not that hard to get started.
What's next for Sharing and moving on
Encourage people to share their stories and move on from stress and PTSD related symptoms caused by COVID-19.
