Inspiration
A folder prepared for a customer can contain more than the intended deliverables: internal pricing notes, another client’s information, or a screenshot showing a credential.
ShareWise started with a simple question: “Before I share these files, what might be inappropriate for this recipient?”
What it does
ShareWise is a Uliya Skill designed to review selected NAS files against a confirmed recipient and sharing purpose.
The proposed workflow is:
- Select files and describe who will receive them.
- Confirm which information is permitted or restricted.
- Inspect supported document text and image text.
- Receive a report with masked evidence, source references, and a verdict for each file.
- Correct the original files manually and request another review.
The report distinguishes files requiring review, files with no findings in inspected content, and files that could not be assessed. Unreadable or incomplete content remains visible.
How it is built
The Skill uses Markdown instructions and linked references following the official UGREEN Skill Developer Package.
Registered file, document, photo, and knowledge experts handle documented NAS operations. File fingerprints help identify content changes during a review. Optional report saving requires a separate private destination and platform approval.
OpenAI Codex assisted with research, authoring, review, and packaging.
Challenges and lessons
Sensitive information depends on context. A public business email may be appropriate, while another customer’s details may require review.
Inspection coverage is equally important: an empty OCR result does not prove that an image contains no sensitive information. ShareWise therefore records uncertainty instead of treating missing evidence as a clean result.
Current status
The Round 1 package contains the Skill, seven references, a proposal, and a 28-case device test plan. Both the source and extracted ZIP pass the official static checker with zero errors or warnings.
NAS installation, supported formats, detection accuracy, local processing routes, and save behavior remain [VERIFY]. No successful NAS execution or zero-leak guarantee is claimed.
What’s next
Finalist testing will evaluate recipient-specific findings, permitted-information counterexamples, unreadable files, source changes, and report masking. A comparison with ordinary Uliya will measure whether the Skill improves consistency and reduces review effort.
