Inspiration

I was inspired by John Krasinski's Some Good News YouTube channel. Krasinski's channel may reach millions of people, but not everyone can have their story featured. I wanted to create a platform that would allow for more people to share their positive stories; from little things that make people happy to large gestures of kindness.

What it does

ShareSmiles is a simple-to-use web page that shares positive stories submitted by people all around the world! It features positive stories in a blog-like style.

How I built it

I used HTML/CSS for the web page. I created a Google Forms for the ShareSmiles submission. I linked the GitHub repo to Buddy.

Challenges I ran into

It was my first time using Buddy.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud of creating something that is centered around the idea of positivity.

I learned what Buddy is used for.

What's next for ShareSmiles

I hope to add more features to the site and make it more stylish! I also hope to launch ShareSmiles to the public in the future!
