Inspiration
We noticed that MHS had a lot of carbon emissions because of excess passenger vehicle usage.
What it does
The website attempts to match users with carpoolers who share similar interests.
Challenges we ran into
Working with the database was a struggle, and the unfortunate of the database near the end meant that we weren't able to submit a truly finished product. While the front-end was ok, the back-end remains a priority for the future.
What we learned
We learned about the importance of choosing proper web architechture (i.e Flask and SQL vs. Django). In addition, we learned about the importance of choosing good ideas.
What's next for SharePool
There was a vast array of functionality that we failed to deliver. We hope that we can rectify the issues with the database in the future.
