Inspiration
2021 Texas Power Crisis when people needed help and were reaching out on social media.
What it does
ShareNeeds connects users that need help with food, water, or shelter with users who can provide these resources.
How we built it
ShareNeeds is built with Python as well as the utilization of Firebase through storing user uploaded data.
Challenges we ran into
We had trouble implementing all the features of ShareNeeds in the amount of time we were given.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Being able to upload and retrieve data from a real-time database.
What we learned
How to access a database and edit through the use of Python as well as developed our planning and brainstorming skills.
What's next for ShareNeeds
Converting our website UI into a fully functioning program.
We do not currently have a demo video, since we could not finish it in time. As such, we linked a placeholder unrelated to our project.
