soon## Inspiration About 5 months ago I and my friends started a podcast "Let's Pitch", the major issue that we faced was to compete in such a large community. The revenues are usually low for new creators. We then took help of the upcoming blockchain technologies and came up with ShardZ. The idea is simple yet effective- decentralization of content streaming and benefit the creator-user economy.

What it does

ShardZ brings to you a decentralized, immersive, lucrative and high-tech accent to your daily binge and content-viewing sessions. Creators publish their videos as NFTs and then these NFTs are sold in auctions and the ownership rights are transferred to other accounts. Users get minted coins in return to their watchtime on the platform increasing retention. Investors(viewers) can invest in the videos through our auction contracts.

How we built it

We have used Solidity, React.js, Next.js, Bunzz, Decipher, Spheron, Router protocol in the tech stack. The product primarily uses ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155 contracts for all the metioned use cases. This product uses Bunzz to upload the custom smart contracts and deploy them. Used Spheron for easy 3-click deployment. Used Router for the ERC-20 Multi chain token.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Working with new technologies.
  2. Integration of different technology stuffs, but we were able to overcome majority of them.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  1. Our Vision- Experience inclusivity, empowerment, and shared ownership in digital entertainment. Be a co-owner, not just a spectator
  2. We have been admired by major industry leaders- Spheron, Router, 5irechain, Cardano, Lighthouse and Tejos Chain. This project has been judged by great mentors and we expect this to fly high.
