Shape Up!

Inspiration

When I first thought of something to help other people, I thought about math. These days, I am too lazy to solve the area of some shapes on paper, so I wanted to make something that just does it for you. Later on, I thought about just drawing the shapes out for visual learners.

What it does

It finds the area of shapes and draws it out.

How we built it

Python, pygame, math, replit.

Challenges we ran into

I tried adding more shapes like hexagon and pentagon, but it was too hard. :c

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Im pretty proud how the shapes showed up, also the answer would show up on the screen which is pretty good.

What we learned

After a decent amount of research, I learned how to put text on the screen, which I didn't know you could do.

What's next for Shape Up!

With more time, I think I could add more shapes.
