Inspiration
Small - Med sized business could not afford large scale infrastructure but was still needed
What it does
organizes your data, automates workflows, and tracks all data for readibility and scalability
How we built it
We built it using React, Typescript for frontend, Express for the backend and Neon DB for our database, querying with Postgres and connecting wit Drizzle ORM
Challenges we ran into
We had a difficult time trying to figure out permissions and admin infrastructure. We wanted to have good and clean practices of how a person would be able to identify
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully built a flow builder so people can automate their flows and streamline the process without needing to have technical experience
What we learned
Software engineering practices of project lifecycle, and being careful with AI and the dangers of relying on it too much
What's next for Shalom Hub
We would like to continue developing, adding features, maintaining along the way as we see that this application is truly needed and we hope to continue moving forward to help small - mid size orgs grow as that is our mission and calling to create and love our neighbors as Christ's agents of renewal.
