As a student we spent most of our time in schools and colleges.And during the period of this 10-14 years of school and college life we had encountered many problems like marksheet management,atttendance,have to be in a queue during the payment of fee and when we participate in hackathons like today we have to miss our lectures.Due to which it had hampered our study as well.
So we are doing a project that addresses all these above problems.
What it does
So our project addresses all those problems that are described above. Teacher can perform the attendance and can see the report.Students can search their result and pay their fee online through the esewa. We have included the video lecture option for teacher and can add the video and students can see that lecture of that date. And can also download the notes that are being attached with the video lecture. Teacher can insert the marks and can see it in a format. and in the admin side he/she can add the users and can access the result of the students. Currently we hadnot included the attendance check from the admin side due to time limit so. Admin only can browse the marks inserted by teachers and can print the report of any single class at one time and even can check the fee details of the class either that is paid or not.
How we built it
We have used the bootstrap for the frontend to boost up our styling and frontend work and used simple fetch and insert code of php to insert and fetch the data from the front end to backend.
Challenges we ran into
we had faced more problem in the integration of payment gateway i.e esewa. That had taken our most of the time after that we had faced some basic problem in the marksheet generation to pass the ids of all students in an array and fetch them as a single id.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We had made a good relation with the organizer team and had enjoyed it really during the communication and development of the product. we became familiar with the environment of to securitypal.
What we learned
we had really learnt how to manage time.Which task should we focus more during the hackathon.How to do more in lesstime. Of course the use of technology and api's during this hackathon which will optimally help us in our future life as well.
What's next for Shakshyam academy
we will be integrating the automatic id card generation,a seperete chat system and an integration of google meet if any lockdown happen in future.Advancing the financial system of the college/school and also will be working in the integration of dynamic calendar for better management of the organization.
