Inspiration

We were inspired from our English class, where we had read a lot of works, and we thought it would be funny to spice up our modern day social media with some spicy Shakespeare quotes

What it does

This app allows you to take a picture or select a picture of anything and it will recognize the object, and give you a quote from Shakespeare, you can use these quotes for your Instagram bio, pictures or in daily life.

How we built it

We built it through the platform Thunkable, which is a block coding website that allows the users to make apps. We created an image recognition function in order to categorize the image and choose quotes from those categories.

Challenges we ran into

It was difficult to make sure the app scanned the image and described it well. Luckily we found Thunkable which described the image well so we used that platform.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud of this app and the logo we made for it. It compliments the app well.

What we learned

We learned many Shakespeare quotes, and learned about how to use and work Image recognition in our apps.

What's next for Shakespeareance

We want more quotes and want to test more images, we also want to add a feature where u can directly post the image and quote to instagram.
