This project was inspired by the timeless question of war and humanity: Why do some sacrifice everything on the battlefield, while others sit far away, laughing and drinking? I wanted to create a trailer that doesn’t glorify war but instead shows the raw contrast between suffering soldiers and distant leaders.

Process

I built the project entirely with AI tools, combining cinematic visuals, sound design, and editing:

Kling AI for generating realistic battle and character sequences.

CapCut for pacing, editing, and integrating effects.

Producer AI tool for dramatic and atmospheric soundtrack creation.

The workflow involved storyboarding the narrative first — scenes of soldiers in the trenches, human moments of fear and despair, and the chilling contrast of generals in safety. From there, I used prompt engineering to ensure consistency across shots, and finally cut everything together into a fast-paced trailer.

Challenges

The biggest challenges were:

Maintaining visual consistency across AI-generated characters and environments.

Balancing realism with artistic intent, ensuring the scenes felt authentic without being exploitative.

Crafting an emotional rhythm in editing that builds tension and ends with impact.

Learnings

Through this project, I learned how powerful AI can be in shaping cinematic storytelling — not just as a tool for visuals, but as a way to explore moral and emotional themes. The process showed me that AI filmmaking is not about replacing human creativity, but amplifying it, letting us tell stories that feel larger than life.
