The Shadows of The Clocks was inspired by the darkly whimsical worlds of Tim Burton and the idea of time as both a tool and a trap. I wanted to create a story for misfits, dreamers, and anyone who sees the world a little sideways.

What I Learned:
I explored gothic storytelling through stop-motion-style animation and AI tools, learning how light, shadow, pacing, and sound affect mood. I also discovered how AI can accelerate creative storytelling.

How I Built It:
I used Runway ML for image and video generation, ChatGPT for scripting and story development, Epidemic Sound for background music, and Kling AI for lip syncing/SFX. These tools helped bring a crooked town, haunted clocks, and whispering shadows to life.

Challenges Faced:
Balancing AI-generated visuals with storytelling intent was tricky. Lighting, shadow, and timing had to be carefully managed, and ensuring the AI output matched the gothic atmosphere required multiple iterations.

The end result is a poetic Halloween-inspired tale of shadows, time, and the lessons we cannot escape—crafted for anyone who dares to look at the world sideways.
