Inspiration

In this diverse era, fashion is not just about clothing but a unique language for expressing personality and attitude, especially for today's youth, for whom it has become an important way to showcase their individuality. With well-known brands like NIKE and Adidas making significant strides in the NFT space, the lines between digital fashion and physical fashion are increasingly blurred. However, for users unfamiliar with Web3, diving deeper still poses challenges.

What it does

Welcome to SHA256, a Metaverse platform based on physical trend-setting fashion. We are committed to creating a bridge between the physical and digital worlds, ensuring each piece of your clothing can have a unique digital image in the Metaverse. We not only create a digital twin for your individuality and style but also imbue your fashion choices with new value and significance in the virtual world.

How we built it

For the front end, we used Next.js, and for the back end, we used Bootstrap. On the server side, we utilized Azure and Vercel. For the online store, we used Shopify's services.

Challenges we ran into

  • Choosing cross-chain bridges
  • Interaction with 3D models and 3D modeling

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • We joined the Microsoft for Startups program
  • We participated in four hackathons in Japan, winning first place five times (twice at Astar, once at Kekkai, once at Skyland Ventures, and once at CKS Crypto Camp) and one second place (THE GRAPH)
  • We established a partnership with JR East (Japan Railway Company) and will soon announce collaborations with other major Japanese companies

What we learned

  • The importance of account abstraction
  • The importance of choosing cross-chain bridges
  • The importance of perseverance
  • How to achieve true large-scale Web3 adoption

What's next for SHA256

  • Using Shopify's API to create a shopping website that integrates Web3 wallets and account abstraction services
  • Deepening our presence in Web2 (for us, this means the fashion industry)
  • Using blockchain technology to promote sustainable fashion
