When we want to play the piano at 10:05, we can not book the slot from 10:00 to 11:00. However, there is no one inside during the period, which leads to inefficiency of college facility usage.
Currently, there is only cold water in two out of three bathrooms on 14th floor. We think there may be other facility fault situations as well.
While we were playing the piano in the mini-theatre, we feel uneasy because it may disturb others who are studying outside.
Solutions
We suggest Chi Sun Turing Club can amend the codes for facility booking system so that people can book the available rooms in the middle of an unbooked period. More specificly, we'd better refer to Flora Hall's booking system, which automatically cancel your reservation if you are more than 15 minutes late for checking.
It will be more convenient for residents to submit these facility faults to college through a certain app. Compared to raise up such problems to floor tutors, an application will make it more convenient for residents to update current facility fault to our college and also save time for floor tutors.
We suggest we can attach all-around sound insulation foams in the mini-theatre to make it sound proof so as to provide both conducive musical and studying environment for the college residents.
