SFU Flow

Inspiration

I got inspiration from U Waterloo's UW Flow since I used to myself to make decisions about the courses I want to take

What it does

Allows students to search for courses they are interested in taking and help them know about the experiences of other students.

How we built it

I built it using React and Node JS with Express although I wanted to add a database with Postgres but I do not have enough time and do not know how to use it.

Challenges we ran into

How to learn to use a database to connect it and store all the comments from the users to show for everyone

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was able to create a basic foundation on an application that could be really useful in the future with further development

What we learned

I learned how to implement a search bar that updates in real time to give options to users

What's next for SFU Flow

Implement a database alongside a login so it works as intended
