Seyrie | Edit videos 10x faster

Inspiration

Sophie has been editing videos (music videos, content for Youtube, short films...) for the past 6 years. Editing had always been a draining and time-consuming process. Every creator we spoke to mentioned that editing was so time consuming. So with the advancements of AI, we are inspired to create a video editor that will speed up the editing time.

What it does

User can enter a prompt and it will edit the videos for the user, for example, cutting out silences

How we built it

Sophie mocked up a design and Diego built it.

Challenges we ran into

1. cpu processing is slow for videos.
2. Serverless systems have to do all operations on video in-memory
3. Took a while to figure out right format for subtitles
