seyeght

sEYEght is the future of peer-to-peer unwanted/unneeded anomalie reporting and detection. By using crowdsourced data, we are able to provide a larger picture of the world around us.

Inspiration

We wanted to be a beacon for our community, made for people, by people.

What it does

It facilitates the crowdsourced reporting of issues in the community

How we built it

We used react, cockroachDB, HTML, CSS, and a couple other technologies to all come together and make a final product.

Challenges we ran into

The database software we used had little documentation (thanks cockroach DB!) but our database team member came through in the end.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're really proud of our final project, and how we got here.

What we learned

This type of project taught us a lot about teamwork and integrity.

What's next for seyeght

Future goals include the creating of mobile apps and a marketing campaign to get this idea global. The more heads on this, the more viable the product becomes.
