Seven Serpents

Inspiration

The inspiration comes from Nordic culture, mixed with Dark RPG and the black-and-white performance style of the 90s. It draws heavily from the music video ONE by Metallica, as well as Fell on Black Days by Soundgarden.

What it does

It’s a music video meant to showcase the aggressiveness of the song, its closeness to the sea, and its appeal to the playful and fantastical.

How we built it

Everything was made by me using Midjourney and Wan2.1.

Challenges we ran into

I had to stop using Flux.Krea and other image models because they weren’t meeting our expectations. I also had to switch video models several times, and I didn’t have the budget to use a well-known, high-quality one.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to satisfy the band and reached 1 million views in one week!

What we learned

I learned more about the creative process and how to work within a very large team while still satisfying the final client.

What's next for Seven Serpents

There isn’t a continuation since it was a single song, but I aim for great achievements after having worked with Nuclear Blast Records.
