I recognized the importance of having a custom domain name, and GoDaddy's Registry services offered the perfect solution for my needs.

What it does

The project involves setting up a website using a custom GoDaddy Registry domain name. The website serves as a platform to showcase my ideas, projects, and contributions to the MLH Global Hack Week. The custom domain name enhances my brand identity and makes our online presence more memorable and accessible.

How we built it

Domain Registration: We registered a custom domain name through GoDaddy Registry, choosing a name that reflects our project and purpose. Website Development: We developed the website using modern web development technologies, ensuring a user-friendly interface and compelling content. DNS Configuration: We configured the domain's DNS settings to point to the hosting provider, ensuring that visitors reach the correct destination when typing our custom domain. Hosting: Hosted using Github Pages

Challenges we ran into

DNS Configuration: Configuring DNS settings for the first time can be tricky. We faced challenges in ensuring seamless connectivity between the domain and the hosting server. I used GitHub Pages for hosting.
