Inspiration Coordinating a film shoot is a logistical nightmare—locations, gear, and crew are scattered across platforms, DMs, and spreadsheets. We wanted to centralize everything into one intuitive, professional-grade system—something like Airbnb + Fiverr + ShareGrid for film production.

What it does SetFindr is an all-in-one platform for filmmakers to source verified filming locations, rent production equipment, and connect with local industry professionals—all with built-in contracts, payments, and messaging.

How we built it We used React, Firebase, and OpenAI’s LLM API to power our dynamic search and chat. The backend handles user roles (hosts, renters, crew), listing management, and secure transactions. AI helps parse location features and match users to resources quickly.
