Inspiration

we were inspired by stories of people traveling to other countries and experiencing unique festivals, holidays, etc.

What it does

SparkTime provides a calendar anyone in the world can contribute to in order to share their country's unique traditions, festivals, holidays, or historical events and anniversaries.

How we built it

We built it using HTML, Python, CSS, and Javascript on github pages

Challenges we ran into

None of our members had experience making a webpage or using HTML and Javascript.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We utilized many new skills we learned from the workshops, as well as new languages and functionalities of the languages we knew an platforms we used.

What we learned

We learned skills involving teamwork, communication, and presentation, as well as the workshop contents on AI and python that we then used in our webpage.

What's next for SparkTime

We will hopefully be able to host SparkTime on another domain, and implement more functions, including AI to better usability and improve the user's experience.
