Inspiration

The inspiration for Survival of the Ultimate Chase came from fast-paced zombie survival games mixed with intense wave combat, apocalypse settings, and upgrade-based progression. We wanted to create a game where every second matters, the enemies never stop coming, and the player feels like they are fighting for the last hope of humanity.

What it does

Survival of the Ultimate Chase is a wave-based survival action game where players battle endless hordes of zombie-like monsters in a destroyed world. Players earn money from kills, unlock powerful weapons, buy abilities, and survive long enough to face massive bosses. After major fights, players can enter a hideout to upgrade their character and prepare for even harder waves.

How we built it

We built the game by combining action mechanics with a strategic upgrade system. The game includes enemy wave spawning, weapon progression, power purchases, and special support tools like drones, shields, missiles, healing camps, and blades. The world design was made to feel like a true apocalypse with ruined maps and dark visuals.

Challenges we ran into

One of the hardest challenges was balancing the waves so the game stays fun but still difficult. Another big challenge was designing boss fights that feel powerful and dangerous without being unfair. We also had to manage upgrade systems and make sure the player always has multiple ways to survive.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of creating a game concept that feels intense, fast, and addictive. The mix of survival combat, boss battles, hideout upgrades, and purchasable powers makes the gameplay exciting. We’re also proud of the progression system, where players feel stronger every wave but still face increasing danger.

What we learned

We learned how important pacing is in survival games, and how wave difficulty must grow naturally. We also learned that upgrades and abilities should feel rewarding, and boss fights need special mechanics to keep the game thrilling. Most importantly, we learned how to combine action and strategy in a single survival experience.

What’s next for Survival of the Ultimate Chase

Next, we plan to add more zombie types, stronger bosses, and special events during waves. We also want to expand the hideout system with deeper upgrades, skill trees, and customization options. Future updates may include new maps, multiplayer survival mode, and rare legendary weapons to make the chase even more intense.
