In a world filled with pressure, noise, and constant stress, I wanted to create something that simply… listens. SerenityAI was born from a desire to make mental wellness more accessible, compassionate, and available anytime — even at 3am when there’s no one to talk to. It’s not just an app — it’s a friend with infinite patience, empathy, and calm.

💡 What It Does

SerenityAI is your gentle AI wellness companion. Built using Bolt.new, it offers calming, personalized conversations for users experiencing stress, anxiety, or emotional fatigue. It responds with empathy, encouragement, and gentle reflection. Whether you're overwhelmed or simply seeking clarity, Sera is there to support you — judgment-free.

🔧 How I Built It

• Built entirely with Bolt.new, using their no-code AI agent to design the UI and backend logic
  
• Developed a soothing, mobile-friendly interface using prompt-based generation
  
• Created Sera, the AI character, and tuned responses using mental wellness frameworks (CBT, motivational interviewing style)
  
• Integrated a chat interface with dynamic, contextual replies
  
• (Optional: Used ElevenLabs for voice output to let Sera speak softly back to you — adding a human, comforting feel)

🚧 Challenges I Faced

• Designing emotional intelligence into an AI was hard. I iterated on prompt tuning a lot to strike the right tone — not robotic, not cheesy, just… human
  
• Making the app feel "safe" took more than code. It took thoughtful UX, colors, and copy
  
• Working solo meant wearing all the hats — creator, builder, therapist, and designer. Bolt.new helped me move fast with no-code superpowers

• Empathy can be built into tech when you lead with intention
  
• You don’t need a big team to make something beautiful and impactful
  
• AI + wellness is more than hype — it’s healing when done right

🌱 What's Next

I plan to expand Sera’s capabilities with mood tracking, gentle journaling prompts, and more emotional depth in conversations. I’d also love to integrate Sera into messaging platforms or as a mobile widget.
