Inspiration

We wanted to make sure that those who didn't have anyone around to talk about their problems had an output online.

What it does

A user logs in with their email and name and gets to post on a board where other users can see posts and post their own.

How we built it

We used HTML/CSS/JS for the frontend and Firebase and a Weather API for the backend. We collaborated on VSC liveshare over the course of the past 24 or so hours.

Challenges we ran into

The formatting of output was a challenge due to the amount of things we had to get done in a short period of time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made it work in the end, and got to add some other functionality, such as a Weather API that helps users see how weather may affect your mood

What we learned

We learned about databases and web design, along with chat connectivity.

What's next for Serenity

We plan to add more functionality for the chat posts along with more options for the social peer to peer aspect of our account system.
