Inspiration

In today’s world, students are increasingly consumed by social media, often neglecting face-to-face interactions and their own well-being. The constant pressure to fit in and be like others leads to anxiety, stress, and depression, especially in a highly competitive society. Many forget the importance of physical health and exercise, which further exacerbates mental health issues. As a student who understands these struggles, I realized the need to address the growing challenges of mental health and social media's dominance. These challenges inspired me to come up with the idea of "SereniTe".

What it does

"SereniTe" is an AI-powered app that helps users maintain a healthy lifestyle by creating personalized schedules, diet plans, and exercise routines, including meditation and yoga. It includes a notification system to remind users of their personalized schedule, ensuring they stay punctual and manage their time effectively while limiting social media usage. The app also suggests voluntary activities tailored to the user’s interests, promoting social connections and a balanced, stress-free life.

What we learned

I've learned how social media is increasingly shaping society and contributing to mental health issues, especially among younger generations. Additionally, I've gained a deeper understanding of the stigma surrounding mental health and how it prevents people from seeking help. It’s crucial to break down these barriers and create more open, supportive conversations around mental well-being. This experience has also made me more aware of how digital platforms can both help and harm mental health, making it essential to find a balance in how we engage with technology.

What's next for SereniTe

The next version of this app will revolutionize healthcare with AI-powered health checkups, offering personalized insights into your well-being based on real-time data. It will assess your health status, suggest lifestyle improvements, and identify potential issues before they become problems. In addition to this, users will have access to 1-on-1 mentorship with healthcare professionals who can provide expert advice and guidance based on the app's analysis. The app will also feature a seamless appointment booking system, allowing users to easily schedule consultations with the right specialist—whether it’s a doctor, nutritionist, or mental health expert. This next phase will make healthcare more intuitive, proactive, and personalized, helping you stay on top of your health with ease."
