While developing Serene Space, one of the first technical difficulties I experienced was integrating many features into one platform. While I was coding the Check-In mood tracker, it required setting up storage that could store daily user inputs and display them on a graph. Making sure the data was being updated constantly without slowing the interface or creating any lag was challenging. Creating the hotline forum brought its own challenges because of the user authentication, and privacy. I needed to make sure the accounts were secure, posts were displayed, and the system can scale if many users were interacting with one another.
