I'm Phil. I'm a creative coder working on various interactive art and music generation apps. Including the GoldenPond domain specific language for chord progressions (https://gilbertlisterresearch.com/GoldenPond.html) which is available in the form of an open-source library in a number of languages. (https://github.com/interstar/golden-pond)
My goal for this DSL / library is to have it working with / on as many platforms as possible.
And my goal for joining this hackathon is to learn enough about the API of one or both of AudioTool (or maybe MuseScore) to be able to bring the DSL (and, then other apps) to those platforms in some form.
So this project / team is for learning the APIs, maybe writing common infrastructure that we can use to make generative apps. Obviously I want to wrap Goldenpond for these platforms. But happy to work alongside this on other app ideas. (Microtonal etc.)
Also anyone with designer / front-end UX experience very welcome.
Finally, Goldenpond comes out of my live-coding practice, originally in Sonic Pi. Another of my goals is to figure out how to integrate it into Strudel, the web-based live-coding language (https://strudel.cc/) So if anyone is a Strudel hacker, then I'd like to talk about that.
