SentinelScan
SentinelScan is a Python-based web security and reconnaissance scanner designed to help users quickly assess the security posture of authorized websites. It performs DNS and IP lookup, HTTP response analysis, redirect detection, HTTPS verification, security-header checks, cookie-security analysis, CORS inspection, robots.txt and sitemap detection, HTML analysis, basic technology identification, common TCP-port checks, and TLS/SSL inspection. The scanner identifies potential security weaknesses, assigns severity levels, calculates an overall security score, and provides recommendations for improving security. It also automatically generates a timestamped security report, making SentinelScan useful for learning cybersecurity concepts, practicing Python, and performing authorized preliminary security assessments.
