Sensus

sensus (Latin): sentiment; perception; understanding

When our perception of the world is shaped by a select few news and social media giants, it becomes difficult to know what's on the other side. Sensus leverages natural language processing to reveal attitudes towards trending topics on Twitter. Results are delivered in the form of an overall sentiment reading (positive, negative, divided), which is determined by averaging sentiment scores for individual Tweets. Users can select from a list of ten trending topics, which refreshes daily.
