Inspiration: My inspiration for the Sensory Play Hub came from witnessing the challenges faced by children with autism and ADHD in traditional learning environments. I wanted to create an engaging space that caters specifically to their unique needs, using sensory play to enhance their learning experiences.

What I Learned: Through this project, I learned the importance of tailoring educational content to meet diverse needs. I gained insights into child development theories, sensory processing, and how interactive technology can facilitate learning.

How I Built the Project: I built the Sensory Play Hub using Vite with React and TypeScript for a fast and efficient development experience. Vite's rapid hot-reloading feature significantly improved my workflow. The website features basic interactive exercises designed to stimulate various senses, promoting engagement and creativity.

Challenges Faced: One of the main challenges was installing the right libraries to support the various functionalities of the platform. Ensuring that the website was fully responsive within the project’s time constraints was another significant hurdle. I had to balance responsiveness with performance and user experience, but by prioritizing essential features and testing rigorously, I successfully created a platform that meets its goals.

Next Steps: Moving forward, I plan to integrate parents and collaborators into the website. This will allow for shared experiences and support, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the platform in fostering learning through sensory play.
