Inspiration

At the end of a busy day, “I’m fine” or “I’m tired” can hide a lot. You can feel happy and exhausted at the same time, or find it difficult to name what you are feeling at all. We built Senso to make a little more room for that question.

What it does

Senso is an iPhone app for noticing emotions and building small moments of self-care. A check-in starts with your mood and a few emotions. You can add a short journal entry, look back at mood and emotion trends, or take a pause with a breathing exercise or calming audio. A growing tree gives everyday progress a visual form.

The characters and soft visual style are part of the experience: we want reflection to feel approachable, not like another task to complete perfectly.

Senso supports self-reflection and everyday wellbeing. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or crisis support.

How we built it

The app uses React Native and TypeScript, with Firebase services. RevenueCat supports the Premium subscription experience, with monthly and annual plans.

Launch and next steps

Senso became available on the App Store on September 9, 2026. We have started sharing the app publicly and inviting feedback. It is still early: our next questions are whether the first check-in feels clear, which practices people use, and what makes them want to return.

We want those answers to guide the next improvements, rather than assuming that publishing the app means the work is finished.
