Our hackathon project is a cutting-edge calibration tool that facilitates the integration of biomedical sensors into XR applications, with a specific focus on physiotherapy and medical analysis. By leveraging the power of XR technology, we aim to create immersive and interactive experiences that allow patients to receive treatment remotely, while also providing practitioners with real-time data and insights that can aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
The demo we have created for this project is a gate assessment for MS patients, which utilizes motion tracking and data visualizations to accurately measure and analyze gait patterns. This not only allows for greater autonomy for the patient, but also enables practitioners to access real-time data for a more in-depth analysis and to make more informed decisions about treatment.
In the future, we plan to continue developing and improving upon this technology by collecting more data and building more advanced machine learning models. With more data, we can train models that can accurately diagnose and predict treatment outcomes for a wider range of patients, thus helping to improve the overall effectiveness of physiotherapy and medical analysis. Additionally, we plan to explore other use cases for this technology, such as post-surgery rehabilitation, and to integrate it with other biomedical sensors to provide even more comprehensive data and insights.
