The possibility of the brain to rewire itself (based on papers on the brain scans of blind persons), and the desire to have ESP.
What it does
Uses specialized haptic feedback to encourage the brain into forming new sensory pathways that can augment or replace existing senses.
How we built it
Using a Raspberry Pi, Python, NodeJS (the last real dev language), microservos, a torn plastic bag, and a lot of tears.
Challenges we ran into
Hardware issues, issues with users being unable to adjust to sensory input (remembering configurations instead of learning them), and so on.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Finding the key to spark learning the brain, developing a psuedo-3d racing game in a few hours, and getting having the courage to bring a raspberry pi without a monitor and keyboard.
