Sending Cool Emails With Twilio API!

This is a challenge for the MLH2021 (Local Hack Day). The goal was to learn how to use Twilio API to send emails, using a programming language (I used Python to do it).

Inspiration

This project was inspired by the Local Hack Day 2021 (MLH). The goal was to be able to send an automated email, using Twilio API.

What it does

It works with an unique (hidden) Twilio API Key, that makes possible the magic!

How we built it

Using Python3 and modifying a Python-based documentation available on Twilio/SendGrid webpage.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge, was to "hide" the key, so that I could upload the project to a remote version control system (like Github) and it would still be secure.

What's next for Sending Cool Emails With Twilio API!

I can now do anything that I want, like sending Happy Birthday emails, TODO updates, Emails alerts, and much more cool project ideas.
