The team aimed to forge a platform that's not just technologically advanced but also empowering for both users and exchangers, promoting financial inclusivity and societal improvement, to give freedom for individuals in developing countries What It Does Cash4Cash is a mobile light wallet app designed for streamlined cross-border remittances. It makes crypto-to-cash conversions simpler, especially in developing countries. Its key features include:

  • send and receive money instantly
  • crypto swap
  • borrowing and lending for businesses and individuals, coming from the community and organizations
  • Quick chat, providing a social media-like interaction.
  • A self-custodial wallet, giving users complete control over their funds.
  • A dynamic time auction mechanism for transparent and fair transaction fees.
  • Multiple authentication methods, inclusive of biometric technologies, to boost security.

How We Built It Cash4Cash was developed using a blend of modern technologies such as React Native, EXPO, Third Web, Ether JS, and NextID, built on the Polygon smart contract and Mumbai testnet network. Foundry, solidity, Chainlink Data Feed, Makefile, Remix, Polygon The development focused on integrating complex functionalities like bidirectional rating systems and auction-based transaction mechanisms, all within a user-friendly interface.

Challenges We Ran Into The project faced several challenges:

  • Breaking down language barriers for a global user base.
  • Marrying advanced features with user-friendly interfaces.
  • Ensuring robust security while maintaining user anonymity.

  • Using ZK technology to help NGOs, programs, and organizations ID (biometrics) for undocumented people and refugees, to receive loans and funds
  • Collaborate with NGO's to make accessing donation funds easy in war zones
  • Extend the app's reach, particularly in areas with significant remittance demands.
  • Continuously refine the user interface based on user feedback.
  • Explore partnerships with local organizations and charities
  • Consider adding more features and services, like investment or savings options, to provide a more comprehensive financial toolkit to its users.
