Inspiration

This project is particularly inspired from an energetic and positive disabled individual that i met on jalan maliboro a while a go. He explained that he currently has no job due to the reason that he didn’t have a proper accessibility towards a place or company that would accept him.

What it does

At it core sense, our web seek to establish a simple yet effective environment where disabled individuals will have a proper access towards a job opportunity that they could actually possess

How we built it

We Built a Website using a reactjs frontend and also a REST API using expressjs. Before we code the website we decided on the design we want and also the data we needed. After we had an agreement our ui/ux designer made the design idea into reality. While our developer planned for their development process and our backend developer designed an ERD. We choose our tech stack due to our team familiarity with the techs and also because we planned for a mobile app. With our tech stack we will have a good base for mobile development.

Challenges we ran into

One thing that certainly jeopardize our efforts to built this web is how to actually validate the potential disabled users that will became our costumer since there are no legitimate ways to verify their disability and their capabilities. And so, we came up with a solution particularly by engaging with the disability center all across Indonesia to gain a reliable source and information in regards to the potential disabled users

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We believe, understanding the current situation to find a proper problem to be fixed is not something that everyone is capable of. We are sincerely proud that we manage to find a problem and also find the solution that will eliminate the underlined issue

What we learned

Over the course of this project, we learned that one of the most difficult thing to do in a hackaton competition is actually the brainstorming process. To find a proper and legitimate idea to be used as the essence of our project is not particularly easy. Moreover, we also learned that establishing a proper time management system for the team is something that is crucially important to make sure that our team can function effectively and efficiently

What's next for SemuaSama.com

I hope this web could actually be launched and used to help those disabled individuals who are in a desperate needs of job opportunities. To develop our product, we aim to create a more disabled friendly ux system that could be used by every possible disabled individuals out there
