🌟 Inspiration

We were inspired by the need to create equal access to digital education. Many young people want to learn technology but don’t always have the tools or mentors to guide them. Semillero Digital was born to bridge that gap.

🚀 What it does

Semillero Digital is a learning hub that connects students with digital opportunities. Users can log in with Google, access their Google Classroom courses and assignments, and explore resources that support their growth in the digital world.

🛠️ How we built it

Frontend with Next.js + TailwindCSS for a fast, responsive interface.

Authentication using NextAuth with Google OAuth.

Google Classroom API integration to display courses and submissions.

Modular structure to allow adding features like dashboards, analytics, and mentor-student interaction.

⚡ Challenges we ran into

Setting up Google OAuth scopes correctly.

Handling secure tokens and sessions.

Adapting when AI dev tools like Cline/Cascade ran out of credits.

A working prototype with Google login and Classroom API connection.

A clean and scalable frontend architecture.
