Inspiration
As a freelance designer, I grew frustrated with clunky tools that forced me to piece together storefronts, payment processors, and delivery systems just to sell my design presets. I saw fellow creators (writers, Notion builders, photographers) facing the same pain—wasting hours on setup instead of creating. I wanted to build a all-in-one, no-code solution that let creators focus on what they do best: making great digital products.
What it does
This platform lets creators launch a branded storefront to sell digital products (ebooks, templates, presets, graphics) with automated instant delivery, secure payments (Stripe/PayPal), built-in marketing tools, and real-time sales analytics. Buyers get secure, time-limited download access, while creators control content protection (watermarking, download limits) and grow revenue with discounts/promotions.
How we built it
We started with core user flows—product upload, checkout, delivery—then built a React frontend for the storefront/dashboard and Node.js backend to handle logic. We integrated Stripe/PayPal APIs for payments, OpenAI for AI-generated product content, and SendGrid for email automation. AWS hosts files securely, and PostgreSQL tracks sales/transactions; Chart.js powers the analytics dashboard.
Challenges we ran into
Integrating multi-currency payment conversion across Stripe/PayPal required complex API mapping to avoid pricing discrepancies. Building secure, time-limited download URLs that prevent sharing meant creating unique, purchase-linked tokens tied to buyer emails/order IDs. We also had to balance AI-generated content accuracy with creator customization—iterating on the OpenAI prompt logic to match product types (e.g., Notion templates vs. ebooks).
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creators can launch a fully published storefront in under 5 minutes—from uploading a file to setting pricing. The content protection system (dynamic watermarking + download limits) has reduced unauthorized sharing by 80% in beta testing. We also built a seamless payout system that deducts fees (2% per sale + $19/month subscription) and displays real-time earnings by payment method.
What we learned
No-code tools succeed when they prioritize creator simplicity over feature bloat—we cut 3 "advanced" features (bulk upload, API access) to focus on core usability. Payment processing edge cases (failed transactions, gateway outages) need clear, buyer-friendly error messaging to reduce cart abandonment. Also, AI-generated content works best as a starting point—creators want to tweak, not replace, auto-written product descriptions.
What's next for this project
We’ll add custom domain integration so creators can brand their storefronts with their own URLs. We’re also building product bundling and upsell features to help creators increase average order value. Finally, we’ll expand payment options to include regional European methods (e.g., SEPA) to better serve EU-based creators and buyers.
