Person Under Monitoring (ODP) is a status given to a person who has developed a fever ( > 38C) or is suffering from Upper Respiratory Tract Infection (URTI) without pneumonia AND has traveled to infected countries/areas in the last 14 days before showing symptoms
Patient Under Supervision (PDP) is a status given to a person who has developed a fever ( > 38C), Upper Respiratory Tract Infection (URTI) and light to severe pneumonia, and has traveled to infected countries/areas or had face-to-face contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19
In Indonesia on March 27, 2020 there were 1924 with ODP status. They isolate themselves at home and because of limited health workers, hospitals have difficulty getting the latest health conditions from the community. Likewise, people with healthy status can also provide health information to the Government so they can followed up immediately.
The following symptoms of COVID-19
Day 1: The patient has a fever. Some of them also experience fatigue, muscle aches, and dry cough. Meanwhile, a small percentage of others experience diarrhea or nausea one or two days before. Day 5: Patients can experience difficulty breathing, especially if they are elderly or have previous health problems. Day 7: On the seventh day, the above symptoms appear and the average patient has not been hospitalized Day 8: At this point, patients with severe cases (15 percent) experience acute respiratory distress syndrome, or when fluid builds up in the lungs. This incident is often fatal. Day 10: If the patient has worsening symptoms, this is the time when Covid-19's disease makes the patient have to be treated in the ICU. Patients who experience this condition are more likely to have worse abdominal pain and loss of appetite than those in mild cases. In this phase, the mortality rate is found to be only around 2 percent. Day 17: On average, recovered patients can be discharged from the hospital after 14-18 days of treatment.
